We want you to love every handcrafted piece you bring home. If for any reason you’re not completely happy, we accept returns for store credit within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

All returns and exchanges are processed as store credit, which never expires and can be used anytime. We do not offer cash refunds or cancellations after 24 hours of purchase.

To return an item, simply ship it using your preferred carrier to:

An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form is not required.
Please include a tracking number so we can verify delivery. Returns received after 30 days will not be accepted.

Once we receive your return, please allow 7 business days for processing. You will receive an email with a gift card code for your store credit.

cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase by contacting us at info@expeditionsubsahara.com. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Please note: for our made-to-order storage baskets, the creative process begins shortly after your order is placed. After 24 hours, cancellations are eligible for store credit only.

All sale or discounted items are final sale.

damages

While we take great care in packaging, occasional shipping damage can occur. If your item arrives damaged:

  1. Report it within 48 hours of delivery by emailing info@expeditionsubsahara.com.

  2. Include photos or a short video of the damage.

  3. We will arrange a replacement or return for store credit.

Because each piece is handwoven by artisans, slight variations in color, weave, or shape are natural and part of what makes every basket one of a kind. These variations are not considered defects.

final sale items

All discounted, seconds, and sample sale products are final sale. No refunds, exchanges, or price adjustments will be made.

Our annual sample sale features limited-edition, small-batch, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Some may have minor imperfections that do not affect functionality.

If a sale item is returned against policy, a 30% restocking fee will be applied.
